
Recipe: Tuna Steak with Sautéed Sweet Potatoes and Spinach

Tuna is an excellent source of high biological value protein and omega-3 fatty acids, essential for muscle recovery and cardiovascular health. Combined with sweet potato, rich in complex carbohydrates, and spinach, loaded with micronutrients, this dish is ideal for those looking for a balanced and nutritious meal.

Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1 tuna steak (150g)
- 1 medium sweet potato (150g)
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon oregano
Preparation Method

Prepare the sweet potato:
- Peel and cut the sweet potato into slices or cubes.
- Steam or boil for about 10-15 minutes until tender.

Grilling the tuna steak:
- Season the tuna steak with lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika and oregano.
- Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and grill the tuna for about 2 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.

Sauté the spinach:
- In a frying pan, heat a little olive oil and add the chopped garlic.
- Add the spinach and sauté for 2 minutes until slightly wilted.

Serve:
- Place the tuna steak on the plate, add the cooked sweet potato and sautéed spinach.
- Drizzle with a little more lemon juice if desired.
