
Recipe: Peanut and Cocoa Protein Bars

The creamy texture of peanut butter combines with the intense flavor of cocoa to create a homemade alternative to store-bought bars, but with a superior nutritional profile. You can make them in advance and store them in the refrigerator to always have a snack ready to eat.
Ingredients (6 bars)
- 100 g natural peanut butter
- 30g chocolate or vanilla protein powder
- 50 g oat flakes
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons honey or date syrup
- 50 ml of milk (can be vegetable)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 10 g dark chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation method
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, add the oats, protein powder, cocoa and cinnamon.
- Add the wet ingredients: Add the peanut butter, honey and milk. Mix well until you get a smooth dough.
- Form the bars: Line a small pan with baking paper and spread the dough evenly.
- Add topping: Press the chocolate chips on top of the mixture.
- Refrigerate: Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to solidify.
- Cut and serve: Remove from the refrigerator and cut into 6 bars.
